Prove "Jobs created or Saved"

Why Is This Idea Important?: Americans must know the truth about job creation/job losses.

Each day we here how Obama "saved or created" jobs. How does someone quantify "Jobs Saved?" Yet the media never questions "Jobs Saved". How many of the "Jobs Created" are Government jobs? Government jobs should be excluded from the numbers.

    Great question/point.

The problem is Liberal MSM is not going to ask any questions of Mr. Obama that would make their boy look bad. The MSM is "In the Tank" for Mr. Obama to the point they are losing any remaining credibility.

The word is that if a MSM reporter treats Mr. Obama as rolaylty he/she gets more 1-on-1 time with WH admins and possibly Mr. Obama. If MSM reporter does not suck-up, he/she is on the outs.

When you have MSM types like Newsweek editor Evan Thomas saying: "I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God." or Chris Matthews saying: "I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often." -- you can forget any kind of legitimate unbiased news reporting.

"The Obama Infatuation", Newsweek online article by Robert Samuelson

    --------------------------------------

The study examined 1,261 stories by The Post, The New York Times, ABC, CBS and NBC, NEWSWEEK magazine and the NewsHouron PBS. Favorable articles (42 percent) were double the unfavorable (20 percent), while the rest were "neutral" or "mixed."

Obama's treatment contrasts sharply with coverage in the first two months of the Bush (22 percent of stories favorable) and Clinton (27 percent) presidencies.

I saw an interview with some police that had just graduated on the same day the stim package was signed. The policeman said that if it hadn't been for $ from the stim package the department were he was going to be assigned had planned to cut the position as well as the positions of all of that graduating class.

Then there was the report of several road projects that were able to start up now rather than later due to the stim money.

You obviously don't listen to shows like Rachel Madow, Ed Shultz or Keith Olberman where you will hear plenty of questions asked about his actions such as the reversal to release the torture photos and that his government talked the Supreme Court into not hearing the case regarding several gays kicked out of the military.

The true liberal media considers Obama's reinstatement of the Military Tribunals to be a mistake as well.

While they do praise actions by Obama that they agree with, they are not the 'water carriers' for him that the Fixed News is for right wingers.

If you are talking about the network news, they haven't reported serious news for 12 years, ever since Clinton and the cigar.

I gotta say that while it is important for journalists to report un-corrupted facts, I think its important to give credit where credit is due. In the past that was taken care of in the OP-ED section but with fewer papers and more internet sources tones and bias will be there regardless. I really want to know when the "Cigar" story was considered "serious"...never mind unbiased.
