I would like to say that this is a non-issue because the voice of the nation has backed down every politician who has tried it.

Obama has some serious courage behind him. It may need a more careful watch than usual.

We live in the age of "identity politics"; if you ain't the right pigmentation, you don't pass GO!

It is very dangerous to pick on the biggest guy in the joint, even if he appears to be amiable; everyone has his threshold, even the good-natured giant.

Ok on Immigration, as it is now we are over popullated so if those 11 million have assimulated then who am I to judge. But 11, 12 Mexican, European, asian, give us time to re-adjust or society and then come in.

1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people)are

working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly

illegal immigrants working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted lis t in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on

Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican

nationals here illegally

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely

illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3..9 million speak

Spanish.

& nbsp; Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on

welfare. Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth (and over 90%

of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration. 29% of inmates

in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue!

The general public overwhelmingly favors immigration reform. Poll after poll shows that Americans want well-enforced, sensible, and sustainable immigration laws.

• 68% believe that employers who hire illegal aliens should be punished (Rasmussen, March 2009)

• 79% of voters say the military should be used along the border with Mexico (Rasmussen, March 2009)

• 73% believe law enforcement officers should check immigration status during traffic stops (Rasmussen, March 2009)

• 89% of Americans think illegal immigration into the U.S. is a problem (30% "extremely serious," 33% "very serious," and 26% "somewhat serious." (Time Magazine, Jan. 2006)

• 82% think that not enough is being done along the borders to keep illegal immigrants from crossing into the country. (New York Times/CBS May 2007)

• 68% feel that the number of immigrants who cross the border, whether legal or illegal is “too high”. (Polling Company, Sept. 2006)

• 62% oppose making it easier for illegal immigrants to become citizens of America. (Quinnipiac Univ., Feb. 2006)

These are only a few examples of the many statistics demonstrating that Americans want lower immigration, greater enforcement, and more commitment to making immigration work in the best interests of the nation.

But Democrats in power think the utopia will be sustained with new voters,give blanket amnesty.
