Many think they changed our minds around 1984 or later. It started long before the Civil War. Many program threads can be traced to John C. Calhoun's "Nullification," an early offensive defense of slavery, the freedom to enslave. Another degree of oblivion was inserted around 1876, when the Supreme Court granted [railroad] corporations the rights of real people and citizens in the courts.
So many are so far behind. The elite owners of the government had certainly changed the water by 1900, when W. McKinley - he was a president in the dark time you don't admit to consciousness - coined the phrase, "my country, right or wrong." Mark Twain wrote a biting rebuttal of President McKinley's defense of the U.S. attempted genocide of the Maori, who resisted the Spanish and subsequent American occupation of their homeland, the Philippines. The crime took place after the conservative news media mogul's [W. R. Hearst] Spanish American War, which acquired several other territories, including Cuba, for the expansion of the corporate business empire.
So, if you're really concerned about your mind being programmed, you must trace it to it's conservative roots. You'll find that Obama is trying to deprogram you and that your corporate masters are frantically reprogramming, as always.
