Put all the books of taxpayer's money on the internet for all to see. It is OUR money. My grandma always said to find where the corruption was, or where things "smelled bad" and WHO "smelled bad" and who was telling the truth and who was not--it was a good idea to FOLLOW THE MONEY. Put all the money of the taxpayers on the internet for all to see; this will:
1. Show Corruption
2. Make our politician's accountable for spending OUR money
3. Identify government WASTE of our money
4. Identify politician's who boondoggle with our money
5. Stop earmarking
6. Show how the SECRET flow of money leads to a political agenda, and not to truth (here I would start with ACORN, and then the Smithsonian, who is the ONLY institution that has direct and UNACCOUNTABLE asccess to the General Accounting office and Budget funds. They then fund a TON of other organizatioms with high sounding names but with political agendas. Open it all up. Transparent. It is OUR money. WE are the government. The honest will support this--those with nothing to hide--the dishonest will ot
7. Open books will help us look at FUTURE programs and expenditures by looking at the cost and efficacy of current or pilot ones.
8. IT IS OUR MONEY! NOT NANCY PELOSI's for AIR FORCE ESCORTS! NOT for scary fly-over PHOTO-ops over NYC to scare us to death (who signed those dumb checks?) Not for anti-gay propaganda! etc. etc. OUR money!! Show us ALL the expenditures.
