Stupid people, Right or Left, only know how to attack, that's because attacking is easy. Stupid people are often called Sheeple, because they won't think for themselves. But, if a smart person were going to attack, they'd probably do some real research, i.e. seeking to understand - first. Like, spend a little time listening to Rush to figure out his actual message, not the one the TV is telling.

Look out! Attack of the Sheeple!

  6. I'd rather listen to Rush than the daily lies of Obama. Frankly, I'm sick of him giving us a weekly lying session on TV every time he thinks his poll numbers are falling. The bottom line is this: He lied to us about change. Nothing has changed, it's only become worse since he's been in office. Obama is a lying bum, just like every other two bit, corruption infested politician that has come down the Beltway.

  10. Media Matters posts transcripts and links to prove what they allege. Limbaugh just makes up lies.

Want an example? Limbaugh went on for weeks saying that Obama was behind the decision to close Chrysler dealerships. In fact it was Chrysler, and was for a long time. Here's a link about Chrysler planning the closures back in February,2008, long before Obama took office:

  12. Media Matters hasn't posted the truth since they said they sold out of Barbara Boxer thong panties. The link is a moot point. Every car manufacturer here has thought of closing down plants and dealerships at one time or another. What Rush said, that you and Media Matters have taken out of context, is that Obama selectively chose dealerships for Chrysler and GM to close down. It came as no surprise that those dealerships happened to be owned by conservative minded people. Try again, only try harder next time.

Isn't taking things out of context an amazing thing! People who REALLY want to fool the sheeple do it all the time and then blame it on the other guy. Quite a good trick. I'm in sales so I could appreciate and use that tactic if only I didn't have scruples and a functioning brain!

  14. Magik:

Here's a link to what Rush said last Tuesday, well after the falsehood of his claims that Obama closed the dealerships turned out to be false. You'll see that here he's talking about the decision of whether to close any dealerships at all.

    http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_060209/content/01125114.guest.html

Here's a link to what the lawyer for the closed dealerships asked in court:

"Amy Brown, an attorney for the Committee of Chrysler Affected Dealers, which represents more than 330 dealers, asked why it was necessary to eliminate the franchises when neither the government or Fiat asked for it to happen."

    http://news.lp.findlaw.com/ap/f/1310/05-29-2009/20090529013507_25.html

Its also noteworthy that Rush thought 2,000 dealerships were closed when it was in fact 789. Still, 2,000 was closer than the 4,000 Rush claimed previously. His attention to accuracy is shown here.

You bring up the kook fringe conspiracy theory about Obama picking WHICH dealers to close to accomplish political ends. The biggest flaw in that theory is that Obama and the task force did not make the picks. Both Obama and Chrysler deny that the task force was involved. There is no evidence whatsoever that Obama or the task force was involved.

That conspiracy theory also fell apart when a study by the theory's proponents found no significant relationship between political donations and closure. In fact, the proportion of Republican donors to Democrats was higher in the stay open list.

So they went after Hillary Clinton. POOOF!

Yes, Rush was involved in peddling that kook conspiracy theory too.

  15. Rush wasn't the only one to point out Obama hand picked dealerships that were owned by coservatives for closure. So, how are you going to dispute and refute other media outlets? You idiots waste so much time going after Rush that you ignore everyone else. You think everyone gets their news from just Rush? No, we're not like you, who always have to fall on every word Media Matters and Soros has to say. We think for ourselves, JACKASS! We double check the facts. YOU DON'T!!! YOU DEPEND ON A SITE THAT CARRIES NOTHING BUT LACTOSE INTOLERANT PEPTIC MOO COW PROPAGANDA, AND YOU DARE TO CALL IT FACTS WITHOUT DOUBLE CHECKING!!! SHAME ON YOU!!! CASE CLOSED!!!

  18. Magikrider:

Rush wasn't the only source or first source of the corrupt dealership choice hoax. It also came from kook sites on the Internet. I blew lots of time refuting their arguments on their blogs.

I agree I'm an idiot because I spend so much time on the Internet.

Going after Rush is a brilliant strategy that I campaigned for for years. Rush escaped scrutiny for most of his career because he bullied down critics by smearing every one. Nobody would stand up to him.

Rush was, and still is very powerful. He's the driveshaft of the vast right wing conspiracy. Lately he's smeared a good Supreme Court nominee with statements taken out of context and distortions of her record. He's been effective.

He's effective, but he also offends most of the public with his arrogance, dishonesty, poor manners, hatred and intellectual slovenliness. So it was smart for the left to raise Limbaugh's profile and call him the head of the GOP.

Once the profile was raised and the kingship bestowed, Republicans were in a real pickle. If they supported Rush they'd lose votes. If they opposed Rush, he'd destroy them. At first a few Republicans denounced Rush. But gradually more went after him, and it quickly left Rush with not enough time to slander all his critics. That let more people join the Rush bashing, because Rush no longer held a threat. Rush can't defend what he does without bullying. There are too many lies. So Rush is losing stature.

Rush has to strike back at the GOP in general. But by doing so he weakens the party. That will make more Republicans oppose him. The fight could bring down all of them.

So going after Rush is brilliant and its best just to concentrate on him for awhile.

I don't think everybody gets their news from Rush. Conservatives get their biased news from multiple right wing media sources. Rush is just the kingpin.

I take Media Matters with a grain of salt because they are openly biased. I do think they are fair though, and judge what they say after critically looking at the evidence they provide. I don't always agree with them.

Dittoheads are another matter. No, they don't question Rush. Rush changes his story from one day to the next. His predictions are nearly always wrong (although he calls attention to the few that are right) Yet his followers believe him. I've been arguing with them for years on the net and no amount of proof can budge them from believing the lies Rush tells. Look at this case with the auto dealers. Can you admit Rush lied?

Here's a real event with Rush. Rush proclaimed on his show that the New York Times was conspiring to cover up the fact that Ohio Senate candidate Sherrod Brown was black. Sherrod Brown isn't black. Rush admitted that later in the show, and admitted he got that wrong. But what about the conspiracy by the New York Times? Since such a conspiracy could not have taken place, where did Rush get the idea there was one? He pulled it out of his bottom. He flat out made up a terrible sensational accusation and was caught red handed. However, his followers never questioned what happened one bit.

The capital letters give me the impression you are angry. I don't see why. If you think for yourself I'd expect you to love a good debate.

Sounds like a classic case of defensive projection to me. Feeling a little confused and angry that so many of Rush's lies are being exposed?

Media Matters backs up their asserions with objective data. It is fact based, not metaphysical.

Rush doesn't defend his positions. He doesn't go on Hardball or meet the press or the daily show OR ANYWHERE where he might be cross-examined.

That's how you know he is a lying sack. That and he can't go three sentances without contradicting himself.

  22. Media Matters backs up their farces with more farces that they've taken out of context. Media Matters is a left wing kook site that isnm't worth the money George Soros sinks into it. Media Matters wouldn't know the truth if it walked up behind David Brock and bit him the rear end.

Media Matters has a history of fabricating lies, distorting facts, paying off sources to say what they want to hear, and taking people out of context. They are the Goebbels of our time. There is no truth to them, only deception and lies.

You want to believe what Media Matters has to say? Go ahead, it's a free country where people are allowed to be brainwashed and bleach blonded stupid. That's on you, not on me.

It's funny how you say you double checked all YOUR facts, yet the ONLY source you can site is Media Matters. If you've double checked, as you say, what are your other sources? Who are your other sources? I know who mine are, but you'll only call them liars and kooks, and we won't get anywhere.

So here's an idea: You go ahead and keep on blindly following Media Matters as your ONLY source of truth. You go on and hang on every lying word they post, and dumb yourself down so bad that you'll never be able to get up from your copmputer desk long enough to change your underwear. All you're going to do is stink your parents out of their own house. You are NOT going to change one mind by immersing yourself in all of MM and Brock's lactose intolerant peptic moo cow propaganda.

I see you're still hammering away at Rush. Why are you still hammering away at Rush? If you think him so irrelevant, ands such a liar, why bother with him? There must be a lot of truth to what he says, and he's inside your mind, slowly gnawing away at your fragile eggshell existence as a leftist based kook. That's all I can deduce from reading the crap you have written.

It doesn't matter to me if Sherrod Brown is black or white, but it certainly seems to matter to you. Rush did correct the record where Brown is concerned, and he does come out and set things right that he gets wrong.

Do you deny that conservative owned car dealerships are being targeted for closure? Look at Obama's list of campaign doners. Oddly enough, you will find a list of car dealerships that contributed to his campaign that aren't on the list of closures. Guess what? They're all owned and operated by (GASP!) LIBERALS!!! There are some that don't even deserve to stay open, that will stay open just because they gave Obama money! That's cronyism! Guess what else? That leaves only conservative owned car dealerships for closure. Some of them did a very high volume of business, and had great locations. That's why the whole dealership fiasco is blowing up in Obama's face. Please do double check your facts, and stop running back and forth between the Axis of Propaganda and Stupidity, which includes Media Matters, Daily Kos, and Huffington Post.

    Case closed.

GEORGE W BUSH WAS THE GREATEST REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT EVER!

Nobody in the history of this country was more successful at passing what conservatives will tell you are their key issues. He was not a failure by any stretch of the imagination if you are judging by how much of his party's agenda was achieved.

What did he do to deserve this title?

    Biggest tax cuts in history

    Biggest cuts in "social" programs

    Biggest rollbacks of environmental protections

    Most defense spending ever

Biggest rollbacks in business and development regulations

Biggest giveaways of public land for mountaintop mining and timber

    Biggest crackdown on civil liberties

Biggest cuts in higher education budgets

Privatization of Military, law enforcement and prison infrastructure

    Biggest cuts in Veteran's benefits

Two new ultra right Supreme Court picks

    And on and on...

There is nothing this man did that was a failure...if you are judging by whether one advances his party's interests. He was able to accomplish things that conservatives have been whimpering that the dirty "Libtard" congresses of Nixon, Bush I, and Reagan blocked them from doing for 40 years.

Well, the stars lined up for them. They got everything they said would "free capitalism" from the bonds of "big government" to work it's magic.

    What did we get?

Worst job creation record since Hoover

Actually LOST jobs over his entire first term

300,000 jobs for his second term

(Jimmy Carter created 10 million jobs in "worst economy in history”)

Millions more people without health insurance

Millions more collecting unemployment from the government

Millions of people’s retirement saving WIPED OUT

Homes worth half what people paid for them

Major decline of respect for US in the world

Continued terrorist attacks on US soil (Anthrax? Snipers?)

Stagnant wages in the midst of inflation in the prices of fuel, food, education and health care resulting in a NET LOSS in the standard of living of the vast majority in this country

Largest gap between rich and poor in this country since the beginning of the Great Depression

It is not George W. Bush's fault and it is not his failure. The fault for the state of this country rests firmly on the POLICIES not the PERSONALITY of GEORGE W BUSH! It is conservative, trickle down, “let business regulate itself” policies that got us where we are.

If we don't acknowledge that then we will repeat this experiment again in the next election. It is important for people to know what they are going to get when they vote for conservatives.

If you make 250,000 a year or more and you want to shut the door to prosperity behind you so you don't need to share your loot then you should vote republican.

But if you are trying to get there, and want policies that help that happen, like a good education and healthcare alternatives so you don't get trapped in a job you hate…even though you have a great idea for a business...then you need to vote for New Deal Liberalism.

New Deal Liberalism is social spending to help you succeed and government regulation to keep powerful corporate interests from rolling right over you and crushing your hopes to line their own pockets the way they did to millions of others in the last 8 years.
