Can we give Caleeeefornia to Mexico?

What you are assuming (incorrectly) is that the western United States played no part in electing President Obama when in fact 96 electoral votes for Obama came from far west of the Mississippi. These states include Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and New Mexico.

I, on the other hand, live in the southEAST that overwhelmingly (except for Florida) supported McCain, and I'll take a nation led by a fairly elected president over a nation overrun by squabbling right wing conspiracy theorists any day.

Get your facts straight before you go making ludicrous posts that have no place on this site.

Other than that, if you can make it happen I am more than willing to live on whichever side of the country that you aren't.

Maybe they can pay their debts by selling their electoral votes. They obviously have no clue how run a government and should be stripped of them anyways.

Pretty sure us on the west coast voted in high numbers for Obama. Dividing the nation from north to south would make a minuscule amount more sense.. if I had no understanding of American history, that is.

Who would pay for the losers if all the productive members of society left. WEho would pay for the health care and all the pother entitlements the losers for Obama want to be given. If the producers leave the losers behind whose wealth can be shared by the losers?

We would get attacked from the east because nobody over there whould fight for there land we gave them...you might as well give it to China, Iran, North Korea or anyone that that had a stick that would want to take it from them.

Government is set limits and rights, as stated in the Constitution, by the people not the other way around.

The only legit argument I've heard hear is that East America would nearly instantly be overrun with Muslims and Communists.

Anyone familiar with the contract theory upon which the First Revolution was founded knows that government governs with the consent of the governed. That hasn't been the case in the U.S. in over 50 years. We are ruled by the unelected courts. We have rigged elections that would make an African dictator blush. Our "elected officials are owned lock, stock and barrel by mega-corps who's only interest is maximizing profits or by leftists like ACORN. You call your Senator or Rep, supposedly public servants and they all but tell you to F-off and they'll do what they want and spin it at election time.

Americans deserve a Republic. If we have to ditch half the territory to get one, so be it.
