Create a Czar of Government Lies

Why Is This Idea Important?: USA citizens do not trust government or politicians

Obama should name a Czar to oversee all of the politician and government lies. It is hard for citizens to keep track of all the known politician lies and all of the possible politician lies. The czar will maintain a website of politician lies - categorized into known lies and possible lies. For example. who lied about enhanced interrogation techniques - Panetta or Pelosi? This lie would be filed under the category of "possible lies". The promise to have bills available for reading by the public before passage would be filed under known lies.

It would be the job of the Czar of Political Lies to develop the database and make quarterly recommendations to Congress and the President on ways to reduce politician and government lies.

probably because I'm flagging it as a duplicate. Mostly because it is, but a little because I want to censor you.

  3. It is good to see the liberal Gestspo admitting it is trying to censor this website.

  5. This topic is not a duplicate. If you could get out of your mondeset of being a censor you would be bright enough to have read it and understood the difference. It is similar. If this site's "revise" option worked I might actually have combined the new thoughts here with the other post - but the "revise" software does not work at this time. Get a life - make some suggestions to improve the nation and stop worrying about silencing those with whom you disagree.

This site should be able to address all issues presented in the daily Presidential Press Conference headed by BHO's Minister of Propaganda.

But isn't this like asking the proverbial fox to watch over the hen house?

Kind of along the lines of Mr. Obama's campaign doing a self internal investigation into the selling of Mr. Obama's Senate seat. ''We have determined we are not guilty.'' Roll-eyes-here...

This idea could use a few other catigories or subcatigories such as "Oldies but goodies", "Has not been used in quite some time(like the truth)" and "Has never been used".

  10. Having a president appointed czar reviewing politician lies WOULD be like putting the fox in cgharge of the hen house, but no worse than the appointment of other czars to oversee other aspects of USA life. However, the mere appointment of a CZAR OF GOVERNMENT LIES would in itself show the White House is willing to acknowledge that politicians and government lies have become a major problem for USA citizens.

I agree but this word czar needs to disappear due to the historical affiliation. We don't need czars in the U.S.

  12. How about replacing Czars with Commissars - this would be more in keeping with the new direction of USA politics as we slide down the slippery slope of Socialism into Communism.
