Google does it again on where the "Open" Government discussion was moved to.

Why Is This Idea Important?: Open government

Despite efforts by a some, including this site, to not be very OPEN about where these discussions are continued in the second phase I have discovered the website:

http://blog.ostp.gov/2009/06/03/open-government-initiative-discussion-phase-transparency-principles/comment-page-1/#comment-8834

I have also discovered that discussions about the constitutionality of presidential qualifications are being deleted as they have been on this site.

You refuse to understand. The project is about designing and building a structure for citizen interaction with government. It is not built yet. You can look forward to jabbering all you want on your obsession once the end product exists. What you are doing is impeding the path to what you want. Really, really, not smart.

Meanwhile, here is the intended purpose of this stage of the project, which you birthers have done your damnedest to sabotage.

    • How might the operations of government be made more transparent and accountable?

    • How might federal advisory committees, rulemaking or electronic rulemaking be better used to drive greater expertise into decisionmaking?

    • What alternative models exist to improve the quality of decisionmaking and increase opportunities for citizen participation?

    • What strategies might be employed to adopt greater use of Web 2.0 in agencies?

    • What policy impediments to innovation in government currently exist?

    • What is the best way to change the culture of government to embrace collaboration?

    • What changes in training or hiring of personnel would enhance innovation?

    • What performance measures are necessary to determine the effectiveness of open government policies?

Now that you have located the active stage of the project, you can try and sabotage that, too. Good luck and good night.
