The longer the question's not answered, the worse it gets. It's time to deal with it. The only believable reason why it hasn't been dealt with is those records will reveal what many of us suspect - that he's not a citizen, certainly not "natural born". Please don't provide false documents again. I've been really impressed by the documents examinations done by intelligent bloggers.
Yes, the issue should have been resolved before the nomination, election, before the Electoral College met, before Obama was sworn in. There were numerous court cases throughout. Some made it to conferences at the Supreme Court. They've been dismissed mostly "for lack of standing". Who has standing if a United States citizen does not? They've been filed in many states and at the federal level. They've been filed by lawyers, active and retired military and many, many others. There have been hundreds of suits. Millions have been spent by Obama defending against these suits. Those filing the suits have done it Pro Bono, on shoestrings collecting small donations to pay filing fees because they care about our country. The media has done a consummate job of ignoring the issue while far more trivial "news" is discussed endlessly.
It's not trivial. This isn't a joke. We aren't nuts. It's a fair question. Provide the records.

The one & only reason BO will not release his birth certificate is because that document will show that he was born in Nigeria to an under-aged mom and, according to US law at the time, he would not be accorded US citizen status. BO has never become naturalized. He is still an illegal alien. He got to where he is now through affirmative action. He is very proficient at working the system to get exactly what he wants. The Constitution of the United States of America requires that an elected President be a "natural born" citizen. This is not innuendo.
There is not a requirement that a 'candidate' be a "natural born" citizen, but if elected President the candidate has to be a "natural born" citizen of the United States of America.
Is the Constitution not more important than an election?

If he was traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove that he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

I believe you're aware documents are sometimes forged? The Certificate of Live Birth provided has been debunked when compared with legitimate Certificates of Live Birth and it does not say where he was born. They were available for babies born in other countries. That's why so many people are seeking the long form birth certificate. It will say where he was born. It's a simple request.

Travel to a country then banned for US citizens would be considered an action adverse to citizenship by the US State Department. It would complicate Obama's ability to become a US citizen or regain US Citizenship and it might make it impossible.
Just because Obama is now President does not make the issue of his citizenship trivial.

Soetoro does not meet the criteria for being considered "Natural Born" because only one of his parents (his mother) was a citizen, and the laws in 1961 stipulated that when only one parent is a citizen, that parent must be at least 21 years old for their child to be considered "natural born".
The issue of WHERE Soetoro was born is not relevant, even if he WAS born in Hawaii and we had the long form birth certificate to prove it, he would STILL not meet the legal requirement to have been allowed to run for the Presidency. He must step down. He has plunged us into a Constitutional Crisis.
