It's time we stopped Tax Payer funding for the ACLU: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1293728/posts
In Addition ACLU should be investigated for protecting Terrorist Groups since
ACLU has been ACCEPTING funding from Terrorist Groups since 2005! http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2005/11/10/aclu-can-now-accept-money-from-terrorists/
I propose we not allow ACLU to continue until full disclosure of all financial records are disclosed and a business investigation has been completed to the satisfaction of The American people.
Further, the American People are enraged that the ACLU has taken it upon themselves to devise a plan to avoid illegal deportations based on American Laws which were created in an effort to protect American Citizens from invasions from foreigners: http://www.dailyrecord.com/article/20090517/COMMUNITIES/905170325/1005/NEWS01

As a minimum we need to stop confiscating taxpayer's wealth to support the ACLU lawyers.
Get serious. The ACLU is one of the few really effective Constitution protectors we have. There is only one area they err - obortion. Thats a big one, damn them for that only.
ACLU is a non-profit but I do not believe they receive taxpayer dollars.
What a novel suggestion, from a freeper of course!
They don't want the ACLU to expose any more of the crimes of the Bush Administration. Get over it, you LOST!
But, we now have the new Obama Administration that that is doing the same lawlessness with a more refined voice. We need the ACLU as there is not real office of government that be can be trusted to act alone in favor of the interests of the People or our Constitution. We must support the ACLU if we hope to survive the continual greed driven shananagans of the non-people oiriented and corrupted representative government we now do suffer under.
The ACLU is a blight on our society, an anti- religeous bunch of zealot's. They should never have received any tax monies!!
Here is the Proof everyone is calling for:http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/
ACLU Can Now Accept Money From Terrorists

Over at Stop The ACLU via And Rightly So from the ACLU:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK – The American Civil Liberties Union and 12 other national non-profit organizations today said they have successfully challenged Office of Personnel Management’s Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) requirements that all participating charities check their employees and expenditures against several government watch lists for “terrorist activities” and that organizations certify that they do not contribute funds to organizations on those lists.
Well, now that is something to be excited about for the ACLU. Now they can knowingly accept money from terrorists. Furthermore, they can now contribute funds to people on terrorist watch lists.
This is a major victory for non-profit organizations that refused to be subjected to vague government requirements forcing us to become law enforcement officers for the federal government,” said ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero. “We feel vindicated. List checking is not and has not been required by law.”

This coincides very conveniently with Obama’s promotion of Islamic zakat as one of his new priorities…or maybe it’s just one of the five pillars he announced several months ago – Obama says U.S. economy should be built on five pillars…
The ACLU's only mission is their intent to help insure the civil rights that we enjoy. I wish them the very best They do deserve your thanks for their helping to guard our Bill of Rights as well
While I disagree with a lot of their positions, the issue seems to be that we disagree with the judges' decisions to fund them, not the law in general.
This is good for transparency and civil rights, but it seems a little expensive from a libertarian point of view.
What gives you the idea the ACLU is supported by our taxes? I support them privately, but I'm unaware of government support. In any case, you have no idea what you are saying. The ACLU, however, will fight for your right to air your ignorance.
