Make all illegal aliens legal

Why Is This Idea Important?: Illegal aliens need to be brought out of the shadows

We should make all illegal aliens legal residents of the USA. Our nation has 10 to 20 million illegal aliens. Now these illegal aliens can be captured and sent back to their native lands. If we legalize all of these illegal aliens there will no longer be any need to spend money to find them. In addition, legalizing these people will assure they get all the government benefits of USA citizens. Let us bring these illegal aliens out of the shadows so we can support them better.

    Why in the world would anyone want assurance that non-US-citizens get all the government benefits of US citizens? They are already citizens of other countries, that provide for their needs. If they desire to emigrate from their home countries and immigrate to the USA, there are procedures which most all of our forefathers underwent patiently, and often painfully (long voyages, leaving loved ones, ecc.). Giving instant windfall citizenship to people who have been ignoring the current laws would be a spit in the face of all the people who respect this country and its laws and the efforts of those that have created it over the last centuries.
