In defense of the president, he has clearly stated that he is a 'citizen of the world'.

I am glad that Joseph Farah has asked the question about the Rule of Law being upheld in the President-elect's case. Patrick Henry once asked "... is the absence of conflict so desirable that you are willing to have these things at the price of bondage and servitude?" Americans should be open to discussion of these issues if we are truly to have 'open government'.

Hmm... I can see the look on the face of the next Human Resources person who asks me for my actual, hard copy birth certificate for their records, and I yell "You racist!" It is hard not to despair over just how little intelligence cult of Obama members evince.

God bless Mr. Farah for taking his time and money to pursue this issue. Obviously Mr. Obama has something to hide or he would produce his original birth certificate. It is just unimaginable to me that he is not required to do so. Just think of all the different circumstances where we MUST provide an original birth certificate. My children could not even play AYSO soccer, little league baseball or start kindergarten without their certificate but yet this man can be elected president of the United States without proving his citizenship of our country! I think that Mr Farah has done this Country a great service, how many of us would have ever question BHO if this issue had not been brought to our attention by Mr. Farah. Even if we find that all is ok with Mr BHO (and I really doubt that) we should be grateful to Mr. Farah for at least getting more of us Americans involved.

God bless Joseph Farah and all the people who get a lot of truthful news and commentary from his website. This man is a legitimate citizen who is a credit to our country. Because of his honest reporting, courage, persistence, and encouragement of others to stand up and be counted, we may be able to one day save our country from the fascism it has surely fallen into.

THe BC in and of itself is of interest, but of more importance is tha man's eligibility under the Constitution.

He has admitted in sever places in his own words that his father was not an American citizen but British. That defeats any presumption of Article II Section 1 clause 5 "natural born citizen" status.

this effort needs to continue, and i applaud joseph farah for his service, until the fraud in the white house is ousted. they say where there's smoke there's fire, well there's enough smoke here to choke a giraffe.

I appreciate the fact that Farah is taking a stand here. Obama promised transparency but has yet to provide his long form birth certificate or college admission documents. What is he hiding and why? We need to know. Playing the "race card" will not dissaude us. Call us "birthers" will not stop us. We will persist until we find the truth.

You are behind something, not sure what. You must provide proof that you are a natural born citizen in order to be elected president. Any person who claims to love "transparency" in government needs to be thankful for his persistent investigative journalism. The role of the press in America is supposed to be as a watchdog of the government. Joseph is the greatest journalist Americans have for this. I am thankful for him and his work. If Mr. Farah was not asking the question and keeping it in public view through WND, the subject would have tragically disappeared. The President should release the long form birth certificate. He is giving credibility to his critics and causing many citizens to question his legitimacy. I was born in the Territory of Hawaii in 1954. I have a "Certficate of Live Birth" with 29 boxes completed, two boxes that did not apply (I was not a twin, triplet, etc, and my mother's address was the same as my fathers. In those boxes, numbered 1 - 23, there are three signatures: Signature of Parent, Signature of Attendant, Signature of Local Registrar. Besides those, the certificate, which is a black photostatic copy, has two additional signatures: President, Board of Health (Richard K.C. Lee, M.D. and Registrar General, Charles G. Bennett.

Furthermore, the signature for the attendant as the MD box check and a handwritten date.

Lastly, box 6a identifies the place of birth, city or town, Honolulu, 6b the state, T.H., and box 6c the hospital, Queen's Hospital in my case.

I did not see all these pieces of information on the COLB posted online.

Oh, and btw, Farah is right to ask for a certificate of live birth, regardless of the court cases that have decided that "We the People" have no constitutional standing to ask if our President is constitutionally qualified.

I had to produce original birth certificate to be eligible for a job even though I was born in Iowa and had lived here all my life. Why should an African immigrant not have to show his birth certificate to show he is eligible for the highest office in the United States?

One of these day's I will send a scanned image of my "Certificate of Live Birth" from the Territory of Hawaii to Mr Farah at WND. It'll have anything that could be used for identity theft blanked out.

My youngest brother has one too. He was born in 1960, a lot closer to 1961. But his loyalty to President Obama would not allow him to do this.

Every one is entitled to their opinion. What irks me about all this is two things. The courts have to some degree taken "We the people" from the Constitution. This was the case in both a lawsuit to force McCain to show his and Obama to show his. McCain showed his real one. Obama did not, at least it's nothing like mine. These are unfortunate and dangerous precedents. And two, President Obama is spending far too much money fighting this. I don't know if it's his money or our money but it could be used far more productively if he would only show the real certificate.

It appears that we are forced to live in a country with an illegal immigrant known as Barack Hussein Obama, alias Barry Soetoro, presiding over our government as President of the United States of America. And the American people are just expected to sit back and readily accept this unconstitutional quandary without a fight. That is not the American way, and will never be. We expect more from the man we elect as the leader of our nation - honesty, truth, and, above all, integrity.
