Only allow political campaigns to accept money from individual registered voters -- not from organizations of any kind -- and only from voters who are eligible to vote on the issue being campaigned. For example, candidates for governor could accept contributions only from voters in their own state. Same thing at the city and county level. This would sharply limit the influence of big money interests of all kinds. They could still encourage their local members to contribute to campaigns, but they wouldn't be able to shovel money at elections like they do now. It would also completely bar foreign financing in all elections within the United States. Let's own our own democracy for a change.
