The British Nationality Act of 1948 was the law of the United Kingdom when Obama was born. This established citizenship to the United Kingdom, in those places that were British Colonies (like Kenya). Therefore, Barack Obama Sr. (President Obama’s father) was a citizen of the United Kingdom. Barack Obama Sr. entered the US with a British Passport. Kenya became an independent nation on 12 Dec. 1963 (after Pres. Obama was born).

Section 5 (1) of the British Nationality Act of 1948 says that a person born after the commencement of this act, shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by DESCENT if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom at the time of the birth. and (a) that person is born or his father was born in a protectorate, protected state, mandated territory or trust territory or any place in a foreign country where by treaty, capitulation, grant, usage, sufferance, or other lawful means, His Majesty then has or had jurisdiction over British subjects.

Therefore, it doesn't matter whether Obama was born in Kenya or Hawaii, he would be a British Citizen. He would be a citizen of the United Kingdom by DESCENT from his father. Kenya became an independent country 12 Dec. 1963. Kenyan Constitution says that (1) every person who, having been born in Kenya is on 11 Dec. 1963 a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies or a British protected person shall become a citizen of Kenya on 12 Dec. 1963. (2) Every person who, having been born outside Kenya is on 11 Dec. 1963, a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies or a British protected person shall if his father becomes or would but for his death have become, a citizen of Kenya by virtue of subsection (1) become a citizen of Kenya on 12 Dec. 1963. Therefore, President Obama had British Citizenship and seems to have had Kenyan citizenship. Then he supposedly was adopted by Mr. Sotoro, an Indonesian, and possibly had Indonesian citizenship.

But from what I see, Obama was a citizen of the United Kingdom, at birth, and therefore, to be an American Citizen he would have had to have been naturalized. This would mean he could never have been a natural born citizen. Why doesn’t Obama show his birth certificate? I think it is because he really was born in Hawaii, but was a citizen of the United Kingdom by DESCENT of his father, therefore, ineligible to be President of the United States of America. Obama, stand up and show Americans that you aren’t a usurper. Or are you not even an American citizen. This scares me to death.
