So unless you are accusing the government of Hawaii of 'lying' in the issuance of the Short Form Birth Certificate, please think again about your position.

David, you are being deceived - Barry is hiding his long form - isn't it Perkins Coie who is defending Barry against the release of all his records? those sites are not the truth - they are hearsay - let us hear what Barry's records provided to us by him directly have to say

It would be so simple for Obama to stop this questioning and provide information requested to include: his true long form birth certificate indicating the hospital in which he was born and the delivering doctor; a copy of his school records from Indonesia which would indicate the nationality listed in his records (reportedly the school he attended there was only for admission of Indonesian nationals); a copy of his earlier passport as he traveled between countries as a child and young adult; his records of admission at Occidental College which also should show his nationality. It does seem questionable that a young boy who admittedly used drugs and was not the best of students, had the money to attend college in the first place. Who backed his college funding? Did he get a scholarship? If so, how was this accomplished with grades that were reportedly not too good?

Obama is hiding information from all of us for what reason? It could all be laid to rest if he publicly presented the information we are requesting! Unless he has not been truthful!

Eschew Obfuscation. Nothing to hide or obscure? Please produce your long form Birth Certificate, your College transcripts and your passport records showing your declared nationality from birth-- forthwith. Cops can always tell a liar when they see one. How? Because under questioning, they often divert their gaze down and to the right. It's a fundamental characteristic in human behavior when a person knowingly responds untruthfully. You do this all the time-- (watch the interviews people!) This is where the phrase "down-right liar" comes from. You are as open to scrutiny as a Hermit Crab! Wonder why...

I read the document that is referred to as "excellently researched." From it, I concluded that Obama deserves to be President because I believe him to be free from foreign influence, the intent of the law. While one can make all the strict constructionist arguments one wants to, the fact is that all laws are subject to interpretation, and that one of the primary factors that one should base his or her interpretation on is the INTENT of the law and its framers.

I believe the framers of the Constitution would find Obama a fit and right holder of the office, unless they could not overcome the racial prejudice which was obviously alive and well at the time the Constitution was passed.

Given that a majority of Americans elected Obama President even though all of the questions about his citizenship were out there and the citizenship of his parents was also completely known, I think the people of America have spoken loud and clear on their interpretation of the law and their belief in Obama as a good American who will act in the best interests of the country he loves. That is enough for me.

to Imichaelson - no one loyal to our Constitution would sanction non-conformance to it - your assertion of "racial prejudice" is revisionist to the extreme - you are engaging in sophistry here, rationalizing why it is acceptable in your mind for someone not to meet the provisions of our Constitution - I am for the truth to be revealed - the Constitution is our standard - nothing less is enough
