Chasing after a birth certificate is a fool's errand.
In simple terms, the Founders would never have wanted the Son of a Brtish father citizen to be president. That's why they used the precise term of "NATURAL BORN". That eliminates all foreigners to date except Obama and Chester Arthur.
Obama is only 50% American and you have to be 100% American to be natural born and president.

The President is under no obligation to show you his birth certificate. In any case, a copy is available online at factcheck.org. There is no such thing as a long form birth certificate.
To Art Lee - why is the President "under no obligation"? That's the same attitude that dictators of history have operated with.

It does appear that posts regarding the birth place of A.K.A. Barry, Obama, whatever..whoever gets erased.
This site has been rigged so that the posts asking for Obama to support transparency by providing his own birth certificate, health records and college records are not properly counted.
It is possible to review this site to find the most rquested ideas by scanning "Top Rated" posts.

The British Nationality Act of 1948 was the law of the United Kingdom when Obama was born. This established citizenship to the United Kingdom, in those places that were British Colonies (like Kenya). Therefore, Barack Obama Sr. (President Obama’s father) was a citizen of the United Kingdom. Barack Obama Sr. entered the US with a British Passport. Kenya became an independent nation on 12 Dec. 1963 (after Pres. Obama was born).
Section 5 (1) of the British Nationality Act of 1948 says that a person born after the commencement of this act, shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by DESCENT if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom at the time of the birth. and (a) that person is born or his father was born in a protectorate, protected state, mandated territory or trust territory or any place in a foreign country where by treaty, capitulation, grant, usage, sufferance, or other lawful means, His Majesty then has or had jurisdiction over British subjects.
Therefore, it doesn't matter whether Obama was born in Kenya or Hawaii, he would be a British Citizen. He would be a citizen of the United Kingdom by DESCENT from his father. Kenya became an independent country 12 Dec. 1963. Possibly he was also a Kenyan Citizen, and after Mr. Sotoro, an Indonesian who adopted him, possibly an Indonesian Citizen. But what I see is that he was born a Citizen of the United Kingdom. If Obama is a citizen of the USA he would have had to have been naturalized... so even then he would not be a natural born citizen. If he wasn't naturalized, is Obama a US Citizen? What scares me, is that we possibly have a President who is NOT a US citizen. If I was Obama, I would want to prove immediately that I was a natural born citizen. He can't prove it because then it would become known that he isn't even a citizen of the USA.
The fact that a fraud was committed in the past and the perpeTRATOR(s) were not caught does not make any subsequent commission of the same fraud any less a fraud.
