Not all of asking the "Birth Certificate question" are crazy Mr President please read

Why Is This Idea Important?: Your Presidency will not be legitimate until you put out the facts to the American people

Let me Introduce myself.

45 year old male, Married 10 years, Two children, 4 yr old daughter, 2year old son. Own my home, and until a month ago had never been unemployed in 25 years.

When I first read about all this Birth Certificate stuff, I wondered if it was just a bunch of crazy's that were trying to bring you down. But the more I read all the many rumours out there about you and Michele.

I dont believe most of them. But the BIRTH CERTIFICATE issue has me stumped.

For the life of me I do not understand WHY you dont produce these simple documents. Yea yea you posted it on the internet. So lets say your birth certificate is legit.

What about school records, hospital records, service regristration ?

Every other Person that served our country as president, their records can be found within minutes by the average American using the internet.

Mr, Obama yours can not be found ??

I am begining to question your sanity:

* a normal person would just produce the records and put this to rest, instead you add fuel to the fire each day you ignore and fight this

I can not believe or stand behind you as my president until this question is answered.

You can call me and explain your reasons, stop by my house for lunch, I am sure you can find my info by my email address.

You do not owe the press anything, but as a United states citizen that I am you owe it to me !!

I want this to go away so, I do not want any of this to be true.

So I am challenging you Mr. President. Call me and explain to the average American your reasons for not producing these records.

  1. he's probably buying time to forge one. He probably has the best counterfitters in the world right now forging everything, he slipped with that live birth certificate only because he did'nt have the means before because he was an average person then, but now he's president.

The fact that there are people who are easily swayed by right wing bull$hit is not unusual. We did, afterall, almost elect BUSH twice.

  4. It has already been proven quite reasonably -- see Snopes.

No amount of additional proof would convince these people (sore losers?) who truly want to believe. The only thing it would accomplish would be an invasion of privacy.

Were I in that position, I might not fight it, but that is my choice, as I don't value my privacy as much. But then, I've also never been President of anything, so there is less reason for me to want that privacy.

It would be great if people could agree on a single bit of proof that they want -- most people would accept the "long form", or so they say. But even you are asking for more, and xxxxchaosxxxx' comment here suggests that even were all of these documents released, they'd be seen as forgeries.

Let's move on to something that is actually worth debating -- like, say, legalization of marijuana, or transparency in our national budget, or...

    David,

It has already been proven that marijuana users are brain dead retards - see all government research.

  7. This site has been rigged so that the posts asking for Obama to support transparency by providing his own birth certificate, health records and college records are not properly counted, even if they do not get deleted.

It is possible to review this site to find the most rquested ideas by scanning "Top Rated" posts.

According to the liars running this website the most requested item has NOT been Obama's birth certificate.

This is going to be the second time I respond to this exact same post by you. Posting the same messages across several ideas is spam. There are those of us who chose "Notify me via email when someone responds or action is taken on this Topic/Idea" and who receive emails for each post which is made.

No one needs to post their email address when there is a feature that already allows us to publicly discuss any idea on this site. I've learned from my involvement in government and business that there are mentally ill people who think that people should personally get into a discussion with them.

That isn't the purpose of this website. If you want to reply to what I have said feel free to do so by posting here. I can assure you that I will get a copy of it in my email.

  9. @obot:

    Irrelevant, on two counts:

First, I don't do drugs. I don't even drink alcohol, which is arguably far more dangerous -- when was the last time you heard of someone dying from a marijuana overdose?

Second: It really doesn't matter if it's harmless. There is no law against, for example, driving a car with your seatbelt unbuckled, or riding a bicycle without a helmet -- or for that matter, cutting yourself, or beating yourself up, or any of another equally stupid things one might do to ones self.

The point is not whether it causes harm. The point is whether it's really worth it to invest this much government money in a failed "war", filling up our jails for no good reason, and actually causing real gang warfare in Mexico.

No, I wouldn't suddenly start doing drugs because they're legal. But I would pay lower taxes, and sleep much easier.

    @ricardomigrant:

Although it's a copy/paste troll, I'll respond. The fact that people are posting nearly the exact same idea -- without checking the facts, of course (Snopes cites not only the birth certificate, but actual testimony and newspapers from the time) -- over and over again. That's spamming.

If you really think you have a case, pick one that asks simply and respectfully, WITHOUT CAPSLOCK OR OTHER ADOLESCENT ATTENTION-GETTING TECHNIQUES, and vote it up.

But the majority of these really are sounding like trolls and spam, which would be killed for the sake of sane discussion on most forums, regardless of their content.

No, not all asking for the birth certificate are crazy.

    - Some are naive.

    - Some are misinformed.

    - Some are stubborn.

    - Some just don't like being told "no".

    - Some are hucksters trying to milk a buck out of the folks listed above.

    - Some are trying to undermine the government and weaken the country

But if ANY of these thinks a long form birth certificate will make the conspiracy theories go away, they are 100% crazy!
