It should not be a problem, this should be required before any potential candidate can be listed on the voting ballot. Currently no one enforces presidential requirements until they are in office then it is up to the courts to decide it. So what I am saying... Lets streamline the process and ensure that anyone listed on the ballot has been verified to meet the basic requirements that the constitution lays out for the office they are seeking. Get the courts out of the process. If they dont meet the requirements it would be known upfront, not after they are already in office.

stevensje, although i believe your statements are not of the truth... I just want to point out that I did not mention anyone by name in my suggestion. I think that no matter what party they represent, anyone that is listed on a voting ballot should be verified as eligible to serve based on the requirements of the constitution. All and any document ion related to proving they meet all requirements to serve the office they seek should be made public and not kept private in the government. It is a public office so all records proving they meet requirements should be public as well.

Party politics are now trumping the Constitution. George Washington warned about this. Now we are seeing it. The Parties put their power above all, even the Constitution. Congress is controlled by the party leadership and they are now in CYA mode for the fraud both parties pulled on the American people in the 2008 presidential election.

RJ, by getting everything out there and verified that all canidates meet the requirements of Office, then it would elimiate the need for courts. Currently there is what... um... 20 or so cases challenging Obama's citizenship. It should have never of got to this point that we would have to rely on activist and political judges to take a case. If they dont meet the requirements they should not be on the ballat plain and simple!! Why would anyone vote this ideal down? Maybe Obama voted it down himself for a reason? um... ? Anyway the current issue with all the cases challenging Obama and his refusal to show and anyone with the power demanding his birth certificate could be considered UN-American! But that is already done, and the courts will have to work that out. But in 4 years should we still have be concerened?

He's produced his birth certificate. But, YOU don't get to see it. The President is under no obligation to show you his birth certificate. In any case, a copy is available online at factcheck.org. There is no such thing as a long form birth certificate.

See this website for a picture of a long form, typed, original CERTIFICATE of Live Birth which is very different than the computer generated, short form, summary CERTIFICATION of Live Birth document that Obama has provided only digital images of to the public. And experts say the digital images have been altered and they also say the underlying computer generated paper document is forged too.

Write to your U.S. Congressman and demand that they support house bill H.R. 1503 by Congressman Bill Posey of FL. It will change the election laws so that Presidential candidates cannot hide and seal their documents from the electorate and public. It will mandate that the FEC enforce the new law. Right now the FEC only oversees financial issues. Under the new law it would have to obtain any and all necessary documents to certify that the Presidential candidate is constitutionally eligible for the office.

So write to your Congressman and ask them to support and co-sponsor H.R. 1503. Also write to your U.S. Senators to introduce similar legislation in the Senate so that no candidate in the future can pull this tragic fraud on the electorate as Obama has done. If nothing else, this new law would make Obama a one term President since for re-election the new law would require him to do in 2012 what he won't do now, produce to a government agency for examination a certified copy of his long form, typed, original Birth Certificate.
