Being caught in a lie should get you a one way ticket home.

Why Is This Idea Important?: Without integrity - we are nothing

If you are caught lying to the American People, the Congress, or the President, then you get your pink slip.(That means you are 'fired!' for those of you who have never had a job.) Honesty should still mean something.

    Every president since and including Nixon deserved impeachment for their dishonesty and crimes. The very process of selection of President and representatives are corrupted by bribes that are called donations. Our representatives and corporations get rich. We must get the only possible system that can work - which is public financing. Until we do there will not be any real representation "for the People" and we will continue in the wars of aggression for Corporate gains. Until we get our government under the control of the People rather than the Government/Corporate Control of the people we now have.

    I agree with the statement on principle, but why should I be honest with someone I consider criminal and do not trust? I'll be as honest with the politicians as they are with me. How is that for double speak?
