Rizzi - are you KIDDING? That is not a long-form, original birth certificate. That is a copy that just says that he was born. I was born a few years after Obama. My birth certificate is all hand-written. So is his.

And one more thing - do you think thousands upon thousands of people would stay worked up over this matter for so long if it were just that easy? Multiple law suits. Obama's got about $1M of his or our (?) money into defending the BC cases. We ASSUME Obama was born since he's walking around acting like he's the President. But what we want to see is REAL PROOF. Every candidate should have to prove eligibility, so it's not just about Obama.

Obama wrote about running across his birth certificate in one of his books. I imagine that it's the original/real long form certificate. He can make this all end by bringing it forward.

Why? It is a LEGAL document from the state of Hawaii, or are you questioning that? If so your issue is with the State.

What are you trying to get at? Need a new law to require all states to have a specified "legal" birth certificate that is required to be public when someone runs for public office?

Rizzi, you're going to quote OLD biased news. You obviously do not get what this is all about because you aren't even trying to understand. But... you have the right to free speech and we have the right to ignore anyone who doesn't even try to understand that all these law suits and all the frustration is because ACTUAL PROOF has not been offered. Why are all of Obama's records sealed? WHY? That should give you a clue.

What if another G.W. type came into Power in 2012, but all he provided was a lame "Cert of Live Birth" instead of the original long-form and what if citizenship in general was suspect due to lack of documentation? Would it be okay for FOXNews to pretend it vetted the President and cover it all over? No and it isn't this time either.

Mr. Rizzi, Hawaii has an official birth certificate. It is called a "certificate of live birth" and is a completely seperate document that the "certificatio of live birth which has been published.
