Here is an issue I would like you to answer. If the Constitution requires the President meet certain requirements to hold the office, why is it crazy to make sure he meets those requirements?

I am in public safety sector and had to undergo a background investigation before being hired. From what I have learned about his background and associates, Obama would not have made the first round of a basic, background investigation. Admitted heavy drug usage, association with an admitted terrorist, and known criminals would have disqualified him. No matter what you think...there are honest honorable Americans who want only to know the truth. We are not getting it. (FYI, I don't listen to Rush and I am not a Republican).

Look, I can understand a reasonable discussion, but you have to admit that 95% of the too many posts about this topic are from some serious whack jobs.

For real, though, I can't see why this has become an issue for this president when I have never heard of it coming up for any other presidents before. GW Bush admitted to some pretty hard partying in his day, and Slick Willie smoked but didn't inhale (right?)... I think it's the middle name and the race thing- along with a failing economy inherited from 8 years of a moron- that have people interested in yelling conspiracy. He's different, and different is an easy thing to point at and blame when things aren't going so well.

The basis is the constitution. Try reading it; it's a very simple document that worked quite well until the Feds began ignoring it.

Maybe some of us are tired of being dictated to.

This system needs to grind to a halt. Everything this imposter is putting his hands to will be null and void, except for the war in the Middle East that's just around the corner. He won't be able to undo that. He's dividing up Israel as if he's the King of the Jews, except for one thing BiBi Netanyahu is going to tell your boy to go f himself.

What kind of nut job would think he could pull off such a deception???? The Presidency man, what a freak!

Apparently there is some in this country who do not believe the president has to follow the Constitution, and yet they call us nutjobs!

We are not drinking the kool aid here. We are not the people chanting his name like a Jim Jones reunion. You don't hide something unless there is something to hide. Why don't you ask obama to put this to rest because it will not subside. As he further sell us out more and more people will start demanding to see proof of citizenship.

If you somehow feel that these public records are false, please show contrary evidence. Also - take off the foil hat before passing through the metal detector, please.

I think it's pretty awesome to see that a lot of these conspiracy folks are posting the same comments in every rebuttal to their schizophrenic delusion.

I am open to debate on just about anything, but I do think that thousands of posts- most of them terribly written- is overkill for any idea. Especially this nonsense surrounding a birth certificate and college records. You have to know that you all sound pretty crazy- and this coming from a guy who loves conspiracy theories.

The simple point is this: this forum was created to give suggestions about issues that are important to the American people- and to post solutions to these problems. Obama's birth certificate isn't going to fix the economy, and it's certainly not going to get anyone a job.

If you folks would for one second pull your heads out of your asses and put those brains to work on something useful this site might actually do something to influence federal policy. The Constitution you are all so hot on is coming to light with forums like this- this is your chance to participate in bringing the principles of the Constitution back to life.

If I remember correctly, GW Bush never put anything like this into motion- he never once asked for a public forum of America opinion. Instead he took us to war based on lies, and limited our freedoms in exchange for fear.

Well wemo.mike, the real point is this. obama could put this all to rest by providing his REAL birth certificate, something we all have to do do get a drivers license, or say a passport. Doesn't it make you the least bit worried that he will not? It's pretty basic.

It's not so much the argument that I am against. I just think that it has been grossly overstated in this forum- there are just too damn many posts.

Considering obama is having all the questions of his citizenship deleted is more proof he has something to hide. There would not be a single question if not for his legal battles to fight any attempt to see his real long form birth certificate. How can that not bother you? The more he hides it the more people will demand to see it and the word is spreading. Obam can end this question.
