President Obama,

Let's REALLY begin a new era in transperency. Please release your birth certificate for the People of the United States to review. My kids cannot play organized sports without showing a certified copy of their birth certificate. Disneyland even requires your birth certificate to enter their park for free on your birthday. I think the least you could do is provide this document. Why wouldn't you?

Why Is This Idea Important?

It's required by the Constitution. If he is legitamitely a citizen, it should not be an issue.

If Obama really believes in an Open Transparent government and he wants both citizens and government employees to hold the same belief; then he has to lead by example -- by releasing a certified legal copy of the long form of his Certificate of Live Birth.

The more he refuses and fights this the more he looks like a hypocrite on Open Transparent government.

Also Hawaii has two major newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin.BOTH newspapers include birth announcements, and BOTH newspapers record the August 4th, 1961 birth of Barack Obama.

snopes.com dunno nothing!

I am not yet convinced Obama is an illegal president, although I am also not sure he is Constitutionally qualified to be president.
But, rather than arguing this point I ask the following.
Even if we get clear proof Obama is not qualified to be president, what can we do? Obama controls the military and the rest of federal law enforcement agents.
