I understand that formal charges have been filed with federal attorneys charging obama with treason. Why is this not being acted upon? obama spitting upon the U.S. Constitution by hiding, intentionally, his birth records, school records and other government documents makes our government look no better than that of despot Hugo Chavez. This is not transparency. This is Germany pre world war two.

Why Is This Idea Important?

Either the U.S. Constitution is the law or it isn't. You can't pick and choose which parts to follow.

What was the purpose of the founding fathers including "natural born citizen" in the requirements for president?

ANS. It was to insure that there were no conflicts of interest and that the loyalty to the United States was unquestionable.

I don't feel Soreteo's aka obama's loyalty is unquestionable. Do you?

Watching the campaign for president it is clear that this birth certificate spoof is an underground smear attempt. Looking back through the generations for some constitutional fragment that somehow will discredit the president, Republicans sure are jealous, they have nothing what so ever to offer but the hole they dig themselves, instead of seriously attending to true issues of governance. In the end all this pathetic slander that spilled out on this site today will only alienate the supposed benefactors of this gross attack. This site is available for the world to see. It is the partners of America; it is America’s allies that will see this attack for what it is. A feeble attack against the President, an attack against a President that brought the ability of open governance and respect for all humanity to the world stage like no other leader before. The 21st century needed to leave disgraceful behaviour in problem solving behind and start behaving like the future generations of citizen’s matter. Today the single phrase wrapped in slander and disrespect demonstrates that the right choice was made on Election Day.

What idiot would charge President Obama with treason, when george"This would be a lot easier if this country was a dictatorship and I was the dictator" bush, who refused to uphold the Constitution, went unpunnished? Actually, he did more than refuse to uphold the Constitution... he destroyed a great portion of it for his own personal agendas, but because he called his actions "patriotic" NO ONE DARED TO STOP HIM OR TRY HIM FOR TREASON! After that traitor bush, President Obama, even though I don't agree with all of his policies, is somewhat refreshing.

that is the crux of the whole issue. If he is the poser/fraud that many Americans believe (and some know) then it is our duty to see him out of the oval office and undo all of his treasonous doings.

That is why we need to know. It is not a political question it is a fundamental question about what kind of society we are and are becoming.

Only because there doesn't seem to be any independent checks and balances protecting America from dictatorial foreign aggressors. Even the State run media is in bed with Soetoro a/k/a obama. Our forefathers never expected the press to turn into a bunch of sniveling cowards.
