Quit stealing my money through taxes

Why Is This Idea Important?: This idea is important because the president is leading us down the road of "good intentions."

As of January 21st my tax dollars now go towards funding abortions around the world, and stem cell research. Who is the U.S. Government to tell me they're gonna take my money and use it for things I disagree with on moral grounds? The legal theft of my money via taxes for this, the entire stimulus package, and a host of other things is absolutely disgusting.

    The Federal Government has acted illegally and is exercising powers that are not granted in The Constitution. My taxes were not taken for the purpose of supporting unions, bailouts,extorting banks, and running the auto industry. You cannot spend your way out of debt. There is no accountability for money being spent especially when it goes to groups like Acorn. Adding more taxes and printing more money will only devalue the dollar, we must cut spending and lower taxes to put more discretionary spending in the hands of families.If we do not stop the downward spiral of uncontrolled spending and taxing it will continue and the U.S. will end up just like the state of California-insolvent.

    Taxation without representation comes to mind. When our elected officials are NOT represting the PEOPLE then they have failed to know who is supposed to be in charge. They are to serve the people, not take the people's money and spend it on things we hate.

    We need to vote the politicians out and get REAL people in with common sense. Why do we vote for fluff and charisma and not common folk?

    Oh... and YEA for Davy Crockett!!!
