I think this site is a good idea because it provides us an honorable and well intended avenue or means for us average people to talk to our president without tying up his time directly;
And at the same time, by us publicly voicing our thoughts we can see how many others agree with us,
and even more important in some ways, we can learn from another persons thoughts, new views and ideas we have not considered....
Keeping the above in mind, I think you or we need some means of intersecting, structuring, sectoring, indexing, cataloging or constructing our inputs to more specific areas so that we can challenge, question, confirm, contribute, admonish, engage more directly in a subject or question at hand.
We need some way to construct our commentaries in Brick like moments in building or immaging a wall like Idea..This way we can stay in an Issue relevant area, in an up close and inside detailing dialoging process.
If our thoughts stray, we can still pull them out as not relevant, or relocate them as a viable Brick like comment and move them to another part of the wall like Idea.
My interest is in " Individual Transportation and Residential Life Essential Clean Water and Electricity Energy Needs" as an annual allotment per person, and dwelling based upon a formula that reflects reasonable amounts of use we all agree to ;
( with the purpose of each person or dwelling actually revieving an annual allotment of water and electricity at nearly $0 zero charge )
Well,, Energy use is typically divided into 5 Sectors of users:
Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Industrial/Mfg, and Military;
So I would look for the ENERGY USERS sector,
Then, I would want to go to the Residential category under ENERGY users,
Then under Residential we have Home Ownership or Rental,

Located in Urban, Rural, Remote, etc...
If i am right we could hone in on a discussion so as to truly build a discussion of true constructive and resolution capacity....

I agree...the structure of the site is quite poor.
Paul, I know you mean well, but "..a formula that reflects reasonable amounts of use we all agree to.." will quickly become "what THE UNELECTED GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRATS DICTATE...". That's why the 10th Ammendment is so important. It keeps (or at least it was intended to keep) the federal government from micro-managing the very things you talk about in your proposal. Like it or not, you're going to have to either ammend the Constitution to eliminate the 10th ammendment or decide that individual responsibility, individual self-interest (not selfishness, which is often confused as being the same thing) coupled with a good moral foundation will result in the greatest outcome for the greatest number of people in this country.
You've put a great deal of thought into how categories might be set up. Excellent work!
