Presidents Birth Certifcate
Transparency: start by showing the American people a certified birth certificate with attending physician. Have all data listed that is required by the state of Illinois

Why Is This Idea Important?

In order to keep the Constitution the law of the land and not just a piece of paper.

The brith certifcate does not matter. Obama has stated his father was Kenyan therefore that alone makes him inelegible to be POTUS as he is not a "NATURAL BORN CITIZEN" as stated in the Constitution. Obama was a British Subject at birth.

What 0bama needs to do to prove he is eligible:

1) Release the long form, vault copy of his birth certificate.

2) Release all college records to the public.

3) Show he has never been a citizen of Indonesia - as school records there show.

4) Tell us what passport he used to travel to Pakistan in the early 80's - when travel to Pakistan (or Pokeestan according to Zero) was restricted for US citizens.

Until then I will believe he is an usurper who needs to be removed from office and tried for his crimes against the country.

There are three simple solutions to the question of the Birth Certificate: (1) Just produce the actual Birth Certificate showing location of birth and doctor present; (2) Produce school records if he were foreign student; or (3) Product Passport of travels using foreign passport. Any one of these 3 papers will help put all this to rest. Unless this is the cover-up of the century.

The refusal of this administration to produce a legal birth certificate only underscores its lack of credibility in the eyes of the world.
With everything going digitial what would be acceptable since paper documents will eventually be a outdated as hieroglyphics and clay tablets?

This is a very strange turn of events.

A few questions to the Obama Birther Movement:

Q1: “What news agency or personality is advocating the idea that Obama is not a native son?”

Q2: “Is the Supreme Court at fault for not defending the Constitution of the United States in regards to presidential status requirements?”

Q3: “Is the Obama Birther Movement going to sponsor a type of “Tea Party” on or near July 4th?”

Q4: “What is the official name to the organization that wishes to see Obama’s birth certificate?” Note: “Obama Birther Movement” is a named I just coined from reading a few of your arguments.

Now we know that the other 46% of republicans have been up to. I am appalled that it takes a right wing conspiracy theory to begin the question that the constitution is not being followed. We all have suffered eight long years of constitutional decay under the Bush Jr. administration, and the only time constitutionality is even mentioned is now with this birther movement.

Q1- you're kidding, right?
Q2- the problem is that there is no legal requirement for documentation of eligibility to be provided by a presidential candidate.
Q3- I think that the "Birther Movement" will do what ever it has to do to have this issue heard. It can very easily be put to rest.
Q4- Normal American citizens....not wackos, not nutjobs, not "those who don tin-foil hats", not racists, not unhappy republicans. Maybe these people are included, but the group is not defined by them any more than those who are against Obama providing his Birth Certificate could be defined by the same names.
Finally, if you remember (unless you selectively choose not to) there was a loud screaming about issues that were thought to be unconstitutional during the Bush years. And while we are talking about it, why hasn't our Congress repealed the Patriot Act?

This post is popular but not nearly as popular as the posts asking for Obama to make his birth certificate, college record, health records and the like available.
Count Birth Certificate comments here and you will get over 7,000 But, this site has been rigged so that the posts asking for Obama to support transparency by providing his own birth certificate, health records and college records are not properly counted, even when they do not get deleted. All of the multiple posts would not need to exist if the honest reporting of this site showed the number one request here is for Obama to release his records.
I have done a personal count of more than 1,000 requests for his birth certificate. My analysis suggests there have been at least 7,000 request for Obama to produce his real birth certificate, college records, health records and other financial records.
It is possible to review this site to find the most requested ideas by scanning "Top Rated" posts, but the requests for Obama's records do not show up as being top rated. Those runnig this site are cooking the results. If the results were honest people would be able to continue to vote on a single post asking for transparency of Obama's records.
According to the liars running this website the most requested item has NOT been Obama's birth certificate.

Just read this online and it encapsulates what I think is reasonable for US taxpayers to ask Mr Obama for.
Sadly the longer he doesn't the more inclined people are to think a fraud has taken place.
more importantly should there actually be a fraud then the longer it goes on the more likely that a jail sentence is called for for all involved or have knowledge of it to make amends to the American people.

It's pretty incredible that we have a president who gets away with talking about "transparency and openness" when he himself refuses to disclose the most basic personal data – including the only documentation that would establish whether he is constitutionally eligible to serve in the highest office in the land.

We need to see his birth certificate.

We need to see his student records, including those that would show whether he was registered as a foreigner at Occidental or Columbia and who paid his tuition.

We need to see his passport records during the time he was living in Indonesia and traveling to Pakistan as a youth. Did he give up his U.S. citizenship? If not, how did he retain it? Or did he not have U.S. citizenship to begin with because he was never actually born in Hawaii?

Would you provide all of your personal information to the public at the request of a few citizens, who insult your credibility? I wouldn't. Now if I were asked politely or otherwise by subpoena, that is a different story.

He works for us, he is not owned by us.

I've asked it may times before, and I will ask it again - what do you expect to gain by this inquisition?

You are exactly right. These issues were raised and SHOULD have been vindicated during the campaign cycle, but obviously weren't, they were avoided. Obama is not governing as a private citizen, but a public official. In his capacity he is required to be a natural born citizen. He has been asked nicely, subpoenaed, sued, and now screamed at on his own "transparency" board, but hasn't provided the public with any records that prove that he is a natural born citizen. He is not owned by us, but there are requirements for him to work for us. Ultimately, I expect to gain the truth, whatever that may be.
