Create a government sponsored wiki for social security information. I have 2 parents who are retirement age (both web savvy) yet they know nothing about their social security retirement options. Yes, they receive short letters in the mail with some basic information regarding their social security options, yet they still have a lot of unanswered questions which keep them from retirement. I am aware there are local social security offices, but they do not answer questions via telephone. Sharing the social security options online in wiki format would be very simple and effective.

Go to www.ssa.gov to learn the basics. Get the SSA (Social Security Administration) publications (not detailed, but a start. Then make an appointment!
You can't blame seniors for not understanding their benefits. They change so often. Forget the SS offices answering the telephone. They are a "box agency" which was downsized during the Bush smaller government years.
Medicare benefits aren't understood by doctors.
Not a wiki! My grandmother has no idea that her neighbor's 15-year-old ne'er-do-well could be updating the wiki to tell her she needs to email her question along with her SSN and bank account info to his gmail address.
