A small adjustment making a big change

Why Is This Idea Important?: Its so easy to put garbage in a trash can, its just lazy and disrespectful not too. This would improve the environment and more important to some people, the way our towns and cities look. Its always said that if everyone did their own part it would greatly improve our environment, In forcing these laws would jump start that idea and help everyone join in making this world a better place to live.

Have Police officers in-force littering laws. Fine people who just drop garbage on the ground and in lakes and rivers when a garbage can is almost always near.

This is an easy way for districts/municipalities to increase revenue and respect the environment at the same time. Hopefully, it will be enforced so well that it will no longer be necessary, because people will get in the habit of not-littering.

And make the fines substantial, the way they do in Singapore.

Definately a green initiative, but aren't they supposed to enforce this already? I thought they already did so.
