public access channel

Why Is This Idea Important?: To make us feel more interKnit

A NON cable public access channel which run video of "everyday joe" who voiced his opinion/idea on the internet(like you-tube or somethin') or through a public access video booth(bcuz not everones on computers yet peeps, fo reelz) at town centers. This will make people feel like they really do have a say in how things are run because they will see themselves on that channel and so will their relatives and buddies. You know that would be the shiznit! Dont EVEN try to deny or dis homieez! PACE! P.s. You can release important info scrolling at the bottom of the screen like cnn but instead of news, the newest info acquired or at least links or a place to acquire more info on the summarized subject being scrolled.

    The problem with your recommendation would be the outrageous price tag. Technology like this does not come for free; it's actually incredibly expensive, mostly because there are labor & service costs (who installs these cameras? who maintains them? who scans through and finds something worth showing? who keeps the production systems running? who archives it? who schedules it? who manages all those people? who runs payroll for all those people? who provides their health plans? you get the idea...). You're really talking about tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars to do this across the country, and that's just in major cities.

    Option 2. A whole bunch of racist paranoids that stick to the current insanity and mindlessly rant about the president's family tree and birth certificate. This will also inevitably lead to a tin foil trucker hat craze.

    In order to keep tin foil trucker hats from hitting the streets we'll just have to stick with what we got- sorry, bra.
