Unfortunately President Obama has not kept his promise about ear marks/pork and transparency and has allowed thousands upon thousands of these to pass without even knowing what he was signing. He said he would go line by line and yet hasn't done it yet and has spent trillions of our dollars so far without anything to show for it. There has been no stop in people losing their jobs or homes, but by golly that new nature park in Iowa or Idaho is being tended to and that airport of John Murtha's who has more employees than passengers is getting billions, too bad about the poor. I believe that President Obama needs to go back and listen to his campaign promises about transparency, ear marks, lobbyists, etc...because so far he has not kept one single promise and I am really afraid that we are going to have sky high taxes on everything, even though he said he would not raise taxes. Why should I believe him, he's lied about everything else. If the president would just keep his promises then the transparency issue is solved.

If they have not listened before and simply common sense has not prevailed then what makes us think this "Open Gov't Dialogue" is anything more than a public etch-a-sketch to busy proletariat.
I wish I could apologize for the negativity but the truth is the open defiance of our leadership and the low worth of their words continues our decline.
President Obama rightly campaiged for openness and transparency in government and politics, shouting we need change from the rooftops.
He stated that he would be different from the Bush Republicans who were honest and open.
Since then he has spent hundreds of thousands of public donations to avoid showing his long form birth certificate to the people of the USA.
Until he shows his Long Form Birth certificate he is a Liar and a fraud.
hence the growing public agitation over the issue.
Its a matter of integrity and honestly over hypocrisy.
Are you serious? Did you really expect Obama to keep his promises? He has no integrity; he has lied about almost everything his teleprompter told him to say. He did promise that energy costs would skyrocket with his cap and trade program. That is one of the very few times that he actually was truthful. Don't be fools again. Call your non-representing representatives in Washington and DEMAND that they vote against this scheme to steal even more of the public's money.
