space/UFO's/extraterrestrials
Many Governments around the world have disclosed their ufo/et files. Please, as fellow human beings of this great planet Earth, disclose all known information on space/UFO's because the world needs to know. We are all in this together and deserve to know as much as the government knows.

Why Is This Idea Important?

this will change the world

Governments around the world have disclosed their ufo/et files? I don't suppose you have a link for that. In English, if possible.

i agree if this is a big secret why is it a secret and what does the government have to gain by keeping this information from citizens

There is clearly more evidence to prove the existence of ET's and advanced technologies than to prove against this fact. Besides government cover-ups, the problem also lies with the mainstream media that continue to downplay and ridicule this and other subject areas, e.g. the 9/11 cover-up.

Certain governments (e.g. Mexican, British, Canadian, Russian, Chinese, etc.) have slowly begun to release data or discuss issues more openly now that the public has become more desensitized in the subject.

Hopefully the Obama administration will steer public policy back to reality and bring the ET situation to light, rather than lead the United States into a biblical crusade against an enemy that doesn't exist, with weapons it does not have, like the former administration.

Well Sprinter 5160,

Thank you for seeing the importance of this majority of the public view..
I also made this request in a less comprehensive way...
I suggested our President draft some affidavit, or instrument of legal standing and require all government agency personell to sign off on wether they are aware of any unusual activities and to release any information in regards to any UFO matters..
And by signing this or these documents they would go to jail if they lie..

Your case for our public right to know and its importace is right; But I suggest to you that this UFO matter is the true test of our governments sincerity to be open.

I for one feel we cannot possibly be alone on such a magnificent, life abundant, and beautiful Hydro-xygen Laiden (water) Planet.

It seems to me that this might be useful if the information is being used to conduct studies on how and why the human mind creates such events. I suggest reading Michael Shermer's "Why People Believe Weird Things." It has excellent insights into these topics. Also, scientists are currently searching for other life in the universe. I think it's very important to support such research.

I wish the government would stop covering up the fact that we have been and are still visited by aliens. The cover up has to stop. Its time for the people to know the truth. I do believe if we were told the truth there would be no panic. It would put us on the fast track to explore space. Go ahead you can laugh now. But even President Reagan said, ‘What would you do if the United States were suddenly attacked by someone from outer space? Would you help us?’He mentioned it again in a speech to the UN, where he asked if everyone there would band together against such a threat? Just imagine the countries coming together in a joint effort to explore space, taking man past the Moon and beyond. Oil? That's nothing to what we might find. "To explore strange new worlds; to seek out new life and new civilizations; to boldly go where no man has gone before."-William Shatner

re: engi ("Just imagine the countries coming together in a joint effort to explore space, taking man past the Moon and beyond.")

Actually, various countries are currently in a joint effort to explore space. Here's a brief quote from an article at http://www.scitech.ac.uk/PMC/PRel/STFC/GES.aspx:

"...fourteen of the world's leading space agencies today revealed their agreed vision for globally co-ordinated space exploration to the Moon, Mars and beyond."

It's a pretty exciting development.

Google "Greatest Story Ever Denied" and watch the 94min movie. Has some interesting content.

Or search for "EXTRATERRESTRIAL UFO DISCLOSURE PART 1" on YouTube - also an eye opener.

I watched "Greatest Story Ever Denied." I'm not impressed. Seems like a pretty obvious scam.

Judging from johnwaynemcclung's previous post, it seems that he believes everything presented to him by the mainstream media and trusts the government. It's a shame that he's part of the conservative skeptics crowd, because there really is a shift in conciousness taking place, where people are slowly beginning to accept reality and are demanding answers from those at the top.

re: linkin_park's comment that I believe mainstream media and trust the government...

It is definitely NOT true that I trust either source (the government or mainstream media); both have proven themselves untrustworthy through the years. I am, however, not superstitious and believe in the use of solid evidence and reason to inform one's thoughts. If one reads more than just the viewpoints one supports, and does so with a mind to discover the truth to the best of one's ability without holding to an unsubstantiated and biased belief system to begin with, then a current belief in alien abductions and visitations should not hold. It doesn't mean there isn't a possibility of extra-solar-system intelligent life. That is what scientists are currently trying to discover. It's no coincidence that every video purporting to show aliens is a blurred mess that one cannot decipher (just like Sasquatch and the Loch Ness monster). Only a person who wants to believe in alien visitations would interpret such footage as evidence for extraterrestrial life. While I know there is no possibility of changing anyone's mind here regarding the above, I feel government resources could better be utilized in other related areas such as scientific inquiry, extricating the US from the war, improving education, placing restrictions on government to decrease its deceitful character, rebuilding the wall of separation of church and state, upholding human rights, eliminating lobbyist control of the legislature, and decreasing the power of the primary political parties so that we have more choice in political candidates--especially at the presidential level.

Obama has been a pleasant surprise thus far with his accomplishments, though I am concerned about his continuing support and expansion of the faith-based initiative, which sets a scary precedent, especially if another religiously extreme president is elected again. I'm also very cautious about really believing that he will end the war (and not begin another one).

The one benefit I could see for the government to release information regarding UFOs, etc., is, like the British government, it could possibly be a financial resource for the US government. You may have noticed that the British government is selling their released documentation if you checked out the website linkin-park gave earlier.

This ends my responses to this topic.
