Let people receiving SSI funds earn a small income with no penalty.

Why Is This Idea Important?: They need more money for dental, vision, and hearing help which is not covered by Medicare or Medicaid. They also need more money to buy fresh fruit and vegetables.

Elderly people receiving SSI should be able to earn a few thousand dollars per year to help with their bills without losing some of their help from SSI, which is curently $674 per month. Now an elderly person receiving SSI would lose 50 cents of these funds for every $1 of earned income. This puts a hard burden on older people.
