Regaining Greatness and Respect

Why Is This Idea Important?: The majority needs to rule in the United States of America, not only 3% of the population. We the People need to take back our country while we can.

The Israeli occupation has passed all legal and moral limits. The colonization is accelerating and the Palestinians punished ever more cruelly -- the more or less sane part of the US establishment can see that Israel's expansion project will inevitably lead to the loss of US control of the Arab nations.

I am sorry for both Clinton and Obama. These folks can't do anything. The Zionists have full control of both houses of congress and of American media, not to mention the banks and America’s money. Anything beyond a little posturing would be political suicide.

We're talking about across the board control, here. Open one of your children's textbooks. Look at the names of the people who wrote it and published it. Read the credits after a movie. Look up the 100 most powerful Americans. Look how all successful American politicians have had to prostrate themselves in front of AIPAC. That's not healthy. Not at all. Read the names on Obama's cabinet, etc, etc... Why is it that 3% of the population is controlling 97% of the population? Is that democratic? No, the majority rules in a democracy! How long has it been since the US has been a democracy?

Nothing will change until the American people take back their media and their money. Outlaw all lobbyist organizations like AIPAC. Set up an election fund so that politicians will get elected to office without owing allegiance to corporations or individuals, but to the American people, only. Big, gigantic changes are need if America is to regain the greatness and respect that it had in the past. Prosecutions will be necessary as well.

We're not a democracy, we're a republic. There's a significant difference that almost no one seems to know or care about anymore. Our founders were wise enough to design our government so that it was not a pure "majority rule". It's especially pertinent these days when the "majority" can be so easily misled by the mass media.

Yes, I understand this country was established as a Constitutional Republic, however, we have been functioning as a Democracy for many years now. First we need to take our country back from the foreign power that took control of it many years ago. Then we can return to the Constitutional Republic that our forefathers designed for us originally.

  3. While I can see some problems with the Israeli occupation, why should we be interfering here? Aren't they a sovereign state?

To castlerock8, what do you mean that we have been functioning as a democracy for years now? I still have my representative vote for me.

the united states funds isreal to the tune of 3 billion a year i believe--and it is all for military aid. now isreal likes to call itself the only democracy in the mid-east, except that is a big lie. they do not even have a constitution because they won't write up a document based on democracy when they refuse to allow democratic sharing by the arab population in isreal.

as for denigrating the public as being too easily misled, the fault lies with an education system designed to 'dumb down' the population so a propagandistic mass media can push the latest spin.

if we have a Clean Elections process and do away with the electoral college, we might have a fighting chance of really creating change in our leadership and free them from the influence of monied lobbists.

i agree with the idea of not letting the 3% dictate what the u.s. policy should be on any topic. i just fume at a.i.p.a.c. when i see them ruin lives of politicians who question "our" their off balance foreign policy. the point that we have any group, without regard for the common good of the whole, getting it's way or the highway makes me sick. good for you castlerlock8.

Is your representative voting for you or for the one who gives the largest campaign contributions? The point is that our representative is not representing “we the people” but special interest groups because of fear of political consequences, decline of campaign donations and even illegal “kick backs“ and investment profits. Are you aware of the large number of our representatives that are invested in and profit from corporations that have contracts in the war zones? That should be a conflict of interest!

There is an enormous amount of corruption in our government that needs to be addressed by the American people. It seems there are only a handful that are operating with integrity in our Congress and House today. If you are unaware of that perhaps you need to turn off your TV and get your news from sources that are not Zionist controlled on the internet. After about a month you will see your views and attitude change, especially toward issues in the Middle East and war issues. Those who control the media control the public opinions. In 1984 there were 50 media corporations, now there are only 5. So, don’t believe everything you think is generated from your mind, it might be a thought implant from the media. You might want to research Edward Bernays, one of the most skillful and amoral expert of all in mass manipulation. Edward Bernays, the cousin of Sigmund Freud, introduced hypnotic mind control to Hitler's propaganda chief, Joseph Goebbels, a fact about which Bernays bragged proudly. He was also know as the father of TV advertising.

  8. I'm totally lost about whether this is about fixing Israeli national relations or corporate lobbying. If its the second, we need an actual proposal here.

Before we can “fix Israeli national relations” we need to remove the dual citizens from our government. Do you think their loyalty is to the US when they are citizens of Israel? Can’t you see the relationship with the AIPAC lobby and Israel? Does any other foreign country have a US lobby? I see my job as shinning a light in the darkness. There are people far smarter than me that can propose policy and law changes. Support people like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. They are mavericks with integrity and courage and refuse to kowtow to anyone!

Please do your research! Don’t just believe what you are told on Fox and CNN. The US is in critical condition now and needs true patriots to recover to its former status of health! We need Americans to be awake and aware in order for this country to survive this foreign invasion.

  10. I definitely support Ron Paul, and appreciate his fiscal policy, especially with respect to issues like this one.

That said, I doubt Ron Paul would argue for removing either the lobby or those citizen's individual freedoms or citizenship.

Maybe you should ask Ron Paul how he feels about having people in decision making capacities in our government that have citizenship in a foreign country and that country receives 3 billion dollars in aid from the American taxpayers every year and often more. I am sure he would be in favor of deporting them to the country that they have given their loyalty. He may even express the concern that they are spies!

I hate the Israeli treatment of Palestinians and was set to vote for this, but had to vote against because of the racist undertones. Hot-button words like "control" of the banks and media.

Dude, if you are not willing to work your whole life to control a bank or publish a text book or run a movie studio then quit whining about the the fact that those industries are not controlled by the "deserving" gentile folks you seem to think should be running things.

You want to talk about war crimes by the israeli government I'm with you. I don't like it. I don't like powerless people being abused. I don't like unlawful detentions and torture based on ethnicity or anything else.

But if you want to start some quazi-neo-nazi group arguing that positions of power in this country should be reserved for "deserving" non-jewish people...you can go to hell, friend!

One of the reasons that this country is in such dreadful circumstances is that we are not allowed to criticize the perpetrators that have put us in this situation with out being called anti-Semitic, neo-Nazi or being an advocate for Nazism. Zionism is the problem here, not the Jewish religion. Zionism is a political ideology such as Communism, Fascism and most other “isms” It is the Zionist that resemble the Nazis the most today and you can see the resemblance abundantly in Israel. I am sure that you would not want to be treated the way the Palestinians are treated by the Zionist. If it can happen there it can happen here as well! Who owns the Federal Reserve Bank? Who owns the Corporations that received trillions in bailout money that your grandchildren will be paying for? Truth is not anti-Semitic or neo-Nazi but the Zionist will tell you it is!

Before you pass judgment on others you might try getting an education! Then you will be able to discuss issues with more intelligence and understanding. Here is a good place to start, 'The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy', by American political scientists John Mearshheimer. It should be at your public library as it was written in 07. Or maybe you are more comfortable with your head in the sand like many mind controlled Americans. I certainly hope not, for your sake and the sake of your country.
