Get rid of mercenary armies like Blackwater.

Why Is This Idea Important?: The existence of mercenary armies is a threat to democracy.

They have no place in a democracy.

    I spent a year working in Baghdad on reconstrcution. Blackwater personnel kept me alive, and five of their men were killed in the process. Blackwater is not an army, it's a security service.

    Blackwater should be subject to the uniform code of military justice. It's not right to have "security services" operating in a war zone, but without a legal framework in place if they do something wrong.
