Authentication of Web Documents

Why Is This Idea Important?: Not only do major sections of the government, such as the courts, depend on authenticated information, it is imperative that each and every person who finds a "governement" approved or printed document know that it is in fact authentic and has not been altered or tampered in any way.

The Government must quickly develop a method by which all documents from the federal government, especially those born digital, which are on the web are authenticated.
