  1. Obama claimed "National Security" on this issue; if the pictures were released, he believes it would endanger our troops and cause outrage. Well, I believe this is true, but what does waiting do? if we release them now, we're still over there, and we can handle any uprisings. If we wait until months or years later after we've left, we'll just undo what we did and have to go back. The uprisings will still come even if we've accomplished our goals. We need to release the photos now so we can deal with it while we're still there.

This has to be a difficult decision based on the photos that have already been released. Our government must protect are troops and the mission that we are currenly engaged in. If these photos do harm to either one of these, I believe that if they are to be released it should be when we are no longer in a military engagement.

1.Troops in afghanistan as well as the citizens near them are already getting blown up over this. Info about his fuels the terrorist recruiting efforts and puts our troops more in harms way.

    2. It will delay or stop any peace efforts on the POTUS PLANNED trip soon.

    3. It will compromise efforts to punish the related criminal acts by USA architects of torture.

ONCE WE PROSECUTE OUR CrIMINALS and CAN SHOW THE WORLD this is not approved by the USA - then they can be released.

Prosecute those responsible to the highest levels would negate some of the dangers to our troops. Apply the same laws to ourselves as we did after WW2.

Release the photos! The public has a right to know and see what was done by our representatives. Those responsible for the abuses should be prosecuted.

Transparency in government, as promised, please.

  7. At the very LEAST; a Special Prosecutor should be appointed to see these pics, as part of a comprehensive investigation of torture.

    Thumbs-down.

It would serve no purpose, other than to further humiliate the victims.

We get the gist of those photos. We don't need to see something worse than porn.

Unless you're on the jury, only sick people need to see it first-hand.
