Ha! Thats a pipe dream if ever there was one but your on the right track. I hear an awfull lot of folks very unhappy with both resident parties and understandably so. So let me put it to all of you now by saying, IF you really want change if you really want hope then why are you still voting for the same liars and theives? Lets kick start what our govenment really needs and put our votes together for some thing true enovative like a 3rd party... Oh too far out of the box for ya?

It is unfortunate that your comments about the President, Vice-President, and the Speaker are reckless and have no substance.

Why do you belived that the "players" can resolve 8 years of corruption in less than 6 months?

It just does not make good sense.

Can you please add Harry Reid to the list?

This is an asinine proposal that belongs more on a fringe group open source blog rather than a site that is a serious effort from the current administration to attain "government by the people, for the people."

"Mende" has expressed this opinion rather bluntly but I do agree with the intention that I would re-phrase as folows. Let's have self-government that is based on knowledge rather than popularity. Let's have those that have fundamental knowledge of areas/problems (such as health care) to have a way of meaningful influence on the outcome; in other words, let's have those that know have a voice. We can all "chip in" an opinion but let's make it clear that it is only an opinion. Let's facts speak for themselves. And if carrier politicians do have knowledge that is relevant in the process they have the same right as any of us to participate.
Aoll this, however, begs a question:"Who at the end is responsible!?"
Chuckling. The problem will be finding someone to run the place. It is insolvent, crumbling at the core, and so on.

America is at a turning point. Either we get Electoral Reform that reinstates the Constitution and citizens bearing arms as the soverign power (the federal government is a service of common concern created by the United STATES of America, it is NOT a power unto itself).

Am afraid your well-intentioned cry in the wilderness will not get much sympathy from those using this program, as most are heavily invested in the existing two party crime system.

Web 2.0 technology is only useful in these situations when comments are substantiated with reasonable next steps instead of an opinion that is meant to be provocative alone.

They certainly are making very many bad decissions in keeping many of the Bush criminal policies, including the two ME wars, but I am still hoping that they are looking for an honorable way out. Also very scary is the fact that Obama is considering keeping some of the prisoners in indefinate imprisonment without a fair trial. The very idea of keeping presumed innocence locked away for possible thought crime is a crime is itself anti-Constitutional -and Obama, a Constitutional scholar is very aware that it makes him an enemy of our Constitution as well. If he doesn't reverse himself, he perhaps should be rushed to impeachment

The man, Obama, who promised for more transparency in government has done nothing but keep things secret since taking office. In addition, he promised not to take action until things have been posted on the internet for a certain amount of days. That too went by the wayside. Obama has done nothing but break campaign promises. If he keeps going the way he is going, he will go down as the worst president in history.

I cannot beleive how many people willl blindly follow one man. It is sad that most in our democacy have nop idea what they are voting for. This includes our congressmen, as they vote on bills that they have not even read.
